Six Pedicure Tips

Our nails say so much about that and us is why they should be giving the same attention as the face and the hair. It is good to go for a pedicure occasionally or even do it yourself. Here are tips that will guide you to a perfect pedicure.

To begin with, you have to buff your feet while dry and not wet. This will ensure that all the dead cells come off.

Then you need to have some warm water where you will keep your feet. Ensure that you add reviving feet soak which will whiten your nails while strengthening them. You then massage your feet using a foot scrub to get rid of the remaining dead skin after which you rinse.

The number two tip when doing a pedicure is to cut your nails straight using a clipper. Go for the square shape rather than the oval shape for easy cleaning. Make small snips instead of long ones to avoid breaking your nail

Using a nail file, proceed to gently round up the nail to ensure that you do not tear your sock or tights. You should be careful not to make it too round though because it will make it easier for dirt and germs to breed in the corners of the toe.

Then we get to the point of massage. Use a foot massaging oil to keep your feet soft and moisturized. You do not want to have dry and ashy looking feet so invest in a good moisturizer.

This is one tip that you should try out. Moisturize your feet by applying lotion before bedtime then wrapping them in a cling film, put on your socks and only remove them the next morning.

If you want to apply nail polish, then wipe out the lotion from your feet using a ball of wet cotton wool. Then apply a base coat, two layers of polish then add a last shine top coat.
