With Fall approaching, back to school sales about to roll out, and cooler weather around the corner, it’s time to add some signature pieces to your wardrobe. This year’s must-have items have hit the runway, and I am absolutely over the moon when it comes to Fall fashion for 2020. This fall isn’t about throwing out last season’s ‘it’ items, but about spicing them up like your favorite latte or herbal tea.
Dress Like A Boss
We’re keeping it chic and feminine this fall when it comes to office wear. Adding a skinny scarf to your favorite shirt dress or silk blouse will have you suited and booted to take over the board room or nail your job interviews…especially in the fashion industry. My favorite look is from Natalie Suarez. It’s not about keeping warm this fall but accessorizing like a pro.
Coats With The Fur
This season coats are over-sized, with arms hanging long and wide–and why not keep it warm and stylish with a little fur accent? Michael Kors walked some fabulous designs down the runway for Fall, and I have to say his take on this season’s ‘it’ coat is my absolute favourite.
Printed Tights Galore
As you may have seen from one of our other fabulous writers here at Hair N Style, tights are very hot this Fall. Tights for me are a fashion statement in itself. You can go edgy, chic, romantic, or even sexy with a pair of printed tights. No matter what your mood, check out these must-haves:

Give Fall The Cold Shoulder
Every season we show a little skin. This fall it’s all about the shoulder. Go for knit shirts like this trendy number from Joseph. He even combines this fall’s ‘over the hand’ look that you’ll be seeing on all the coats hitting your favourite high street shops. I’m in love with this heavenly, asymmetrical twist on the classic one shoulder sweater.
Boots Are Back
Boots never go out of style. You can wear them all year round, and well, they look amazing with tights. That’s really where my love for a good pair of boots comes in, but this Fall we get two amazing styles to choose from! Think slouch socks meet Burberry, and Ewok meets Isabel Marant. What? Ewoks are adorable and so are these boots!
Of course, the other trend making waves this fall is the over the knee boot–especially this sweet style from Burberry:
Kill It With A Kilt
Well, not exactly, but you guys know what I mean. This season it’s all about braving the cool weather with a tartan heart. Straight mini skirts are back in and what better way to show off your legs than with a touch of plaid?

Loafer Madness
We aren’t going to start pegging our jeans again, but you can certainly start wearing your Eastlands again. The loafer madness hitting the designer shoe circuit lately might be one of my favourite trends ever, because I was in love with patten leather and plaid skirts as a kid.
